Private Chronicles. Monologue
The film's protagonist was born on April 11, 1961, on the eve of one of the most optimistic days in Soviet history – Yuri Gagarin's flight into space.
Year after year, together with the protagonist of the film, we live the life of not only one person but also the life of the entire state until 1986 – the year when the process of the collapse of the empire began and when optimism reappeared – the optimism of building a new society, about which Soviet people in the early 60s had no idea. The film was created based on private amateur filming on the territory of the USSR.
