The history of the Greeks living in Kazakhstan and having never been to their historical homeland… After the great Stalinist migration of peoples, Soviet Greeks found themselves in the Kazakh steppes. The film's protagonists are Greeks from the city of Chimkent (Shimkent), one is the director of a puppet theater, and the other is the director of a cultural center. Soviet Greeks in a foreign homeland still remember their own.
