In 1991, the communist USSR Empire was destroyed. One of the main symbols of the Soviet power - the Lenin Mausoleum and the Body of Lenin itself were left without an owner. The film talks about Lenin's body, its maintenance, its protection, and also about the different opinions about the future of this body – to sell, to revive… or to bury. Although in fact the film "Lenin's Body" is about a society experiencing the collapse of the Empire.
