A documentary about the life of two sisters in a Russian outback.

In an abandoned Russian village, where just several elderly women and one old man remain to live, a young girl is expecting a child. It is unknown who the father of the child is, but the inhabitants have their version.

Two sisters – 76 years old Praskovya and her older sister Maria – are also waiting for a miracle. According to village legend, at the age of three, she was bewitched and so she stopped growing. The older sister has been caring for her all her life, and now she literally carries Maria in her arms, having even given up her private life. In a village called “Grace” they are waiting for a miracle, not noticing that it has been nearby all these years.
