"Broadway. The Black Sea” is a collective portrait of the cyclical nature of human life, with the specifics of the Russian soul.

Tell me how you relax, and I will tell you who you are. This is how you can look at each character in the picture. The film was shot in a small tent city called “Broadway,” which spontaneously arises every summer on a wild beach in the vicinity of Tuapse in the North Caucasus. People come here as “savages” who cannot afford even the cheapest holiday home. This is an almost virtual city that will not exist tomorrow, it is growing for a season. Here the people suffer and fall in love, play and lose, here they are born and die...
